Day 7

Good Morning,
What a great morning it is (most of it). Jesse is having yogurt and peaches for breakfast, and I went to the coffee bar and had a special Carmel latte made for her. She is feeling really great, and wanted to show everyone her new hair. The not so great part of the morning, was when Jesse was getting out of bed, and she stepped on her lines. It pulled the loop out of her broviac, and tugged on her stitches. It was very painful, but fortunately did not pull the line out at all. Her ANC is dropping, Yesterday was 880, and today is 623. Jesse will receive her first of the last 4 doses of chemo tonight at 9:00. She will also need a transfusion of platelets today, they are only at 15. Her arms have a few bruises, which lets us know she does not have enough platelets.
Tonight will be Clents night, she is excited to spend some time with her daddy :)
Much Love,
Team Catron
P.S. Please keep baby Zoe in your prayers.

Team Catron!

Again, as always, we keep you in our prayers and pray for a full recovery for Jesse.

Jesse, you are such a brave young woman...know that there are so many people praying for you every single day.

Quite honestly, Jesse, there are some days when words cannot express how I feel about your situation...I wish I knew how to convey my deepest feelings to you...wishing that you get better and hoping the day and everything you have done is not going to make it a hard day for you.

There have been days here at AP that the women, including Kristen S., Melissa T. and Lisa M., are just in tears after reading some of the things you have gone through. Just know, again, that your dad's coworkers, in the office and field alike, are aware of your situation, they remember you daily and we all pray for you too.

Yes, I am still trying to sell as many raffle tickets as I can and know that the APer's all bought at least one ticket, some bought 10, a few bought 20. Wow!

You have been through so much and I just want everything to be completed so you can resume your life and be a normal teenager again.

I have three boys and I know that the two older ones also read your blog updates on a daily basis and they feel just as strongly as I do regarding your full recovery.

We wish you the best wishes every single day. Keep being strong. Again, you are lucky to have amazing parents, caring siblings and loving family and friends.

You look great Jesse!

Not to long Sweetie, and you will be ALL DONE! Hang in there. We are praying for these days to go quickly, with out any hitches.

I will not in any way fail you, nor give you up, nor leave you without support. I will not, I will not, I will not in any degree leave you helpless, nor forsake, nor let you down, nor relax My hold on you! Assuredly not!
Hebrews 13:5 (Amplified Version)

Grandma and Grandpa said...

"For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect (loyal) to Him."
2Chronicles 16:9a
"For the Lord takes pleasure in His people: He will beautify the meek with salvation. Let the saints be joyful in glory; let them sing aloud upon their beds." Psalms 149:4,5

What wonderful, inspiring, God-given messages you receive, Jesse!! They are so uplifting and encouraging. My heart rejoices in the lovely people who write them, and I ask God to bless each of them abundantly, in Jesus' name.

Grandpa and I love that beautiful young lady underneath that pretty head of hair. At first glance, she looks a lot like her sister Dakota.

I know you and Dad will have a great time. A special girl and a special father can't help but enjoy special time together. Give each other hugs for me. Then get him to tell you about the time he and Uncle Ken had a pea-shooting contest while they were in the hospital together.

We are praying these last four doses are kind and do not bring the terrible headaches and pain. We are asking for a covering shield of the blood of Jesus over you that the pain cannot penatrate.
God is so good, and so faithful, and we are so thankful that He is always there with you.

All of our love is there also, for all of the family.

Your new hair looks gorgeous on you! I must say, it's the face that's the most gorgeous. You're so close to the end. Our whole family will be praying for a smooth ending to all of your treatment.

God Bless,
Astraea Rohloff

P.S. Our good friends are good friends with Zoe's parents. They have been by to visit and saw you. Small world! I'll tell them to say hello next time. They have been praying for you also. :)
