Happy Easter

Good morning to all of Jesse's friends and family,

I would like to start this post with telling everyone what a special day this is for us. For several reasons. The most important one is this is the day we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the tomb. That is what gives Christianity it's validity. That is what gives me, and my family, the faith and strength to keep going through all of these trials with Jesse. To know he died for all of my sins (and everyone elses) even as unworthy as I am. He did what he said he would do. That makes everything else he said valid as well. By simply believing what he said is true and repenting from sin, and accepting him as your Savior you are guarantied a home in Heaven for eternity. It's a big concept but what a joy to know you are loved enough for him to sacrifice his own life for us.

With staying with the theme of sacrifice I just have to say a special thanks to all the wonderful people and kids I have met at the Fowler Elementary School District. The job I am doing is remodeling the Fowler and Sunridge Elementary schools. The schools have a thing called "buck jean day" where they bring a dollar to school and they get to wear jeans. The dollar is used for different special occasions. The Principals of both schools, Belinda and Dora, decided to give the donation to Jesse. The kids wrote cards and drew pictures for Jesse too. Some made you laugh and some made you cry. I want to thank the teachers for all their time invested in this effort. It is so touching that these kids (most go without a lot of things we all take for granted) would give my daughter so much with their dollar and affection. All these people have really touched my heart and make me proud to be a part of the team working on their school.

There have been so many people reaching out to my family. In this tough time it is hard to mention everyone by name so I want to thank all of you. Your prayers and gifts and just calling and saying you are thinking about us all means so much. What a humbling experience to see so much love.

I am sure you are all wondering about Jesse. Doctor Dee has decided not to give Jes her TPN at night. When Jesse came home from the Hospital, Thursday night, she ate three little meals and she slept the whole night without throwing up (no TPN). She was feeling really great. Friday night Doctor Dee set Jes up with her TPN and within an hour and a half was throwing up and continued to through the night. Yesterday Dee forced Jesse to drink several nutritional drinks (Jesse hates the taste but doesn't throw them up) to keep her nutrition and hydration up. Last night she didn't throw up at all (no TPN). We are wondering if that is what was making Jesse so sick her last stay at home. As long as she keeps up the nutrition drinks and eats a little something Doctor Dee is staying away from the TPN.

Lindsay will be here tonight! I will have all my girls under my roof once again. That is all a Dad can ask for. Having the family all together will be great. Thanks for your sacrifice Nick. Giving up Malea's mom and your wife for a few days is very nice of you.

My heart has been touched by so many people I can't help but to continue to say thank you so much. Our friends Tito and Lisa have given our families journey to some influential friends of theirs. The work they are going to be doing will be amazing. Erica is working on this Ipod touch raffle. It just amazes me all the outreach people are doing. The church brings us is all overwhelming to me.

Thank you all so much for all you are doing. If words could only express how you all have touched my family and my life. This has been a life changing experience in many ways. God bless you all and have a great Easter Sunday.

HAPPY EASTER CATRON FAMILY! I am so glad to read that you are doing so well Jesse! That is exciting to see that all the girls will be together too! Jesse keep up the great work. I know it's hard to swallow and eat something when it doesn't taste that great, but just think, you are almost done. Just keep that in mind everytime you have to swallow something yucky. We love you guys!

Clent--I went to Sunridge and Fowler. I went to Sunridge for 2nd and 3rd grade. Then Fowler for 4th-8th grade. I know the grades have switched around a bit there since. My Mom was a teacher there for several years too. In fact, my Mom's very best friend still works there. Carol Kratzer. I am so glad to hear that they are treating you so well there. I haven't been back there in a couple of years, but use to go there all the time. They loved seeing my kids and I all grown up. My Mom had great years there as a teacher too.

Happy Holy Easter Catron Clan! Please give my best wishes to Lindsay too as I am sure it is hard to be away from her husband and baby on the special day too! Jesse, we continue to pray for your health at your stay home. I pray the biggest blessings for your day and the time to be pleasing and plentiful for the family. What a great thing to have Lindsay and all the Catrons under one roof! Praise God for the children sharing their monies for Jesse. Jesse, realize that even in the smallest things the Lord will share His goodness and plant seeds.

I love you guys and miss you so much! Easter blessings from Oregon!!

"In the beginning was the Word(Jesus), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same (Jesus) was in the beginning with God. All thing were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. In Him (Jesus) was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light (Jesus)shined in darkness(the world); and the darkness comprehended it not. And the Word (Jesus) was made flesh, and dwelled among us, (and we saw His glory, the glory of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." John 1:1-5,14
"And the angel answered and said unto the women,'Fear not, for I know that you seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here, for He is risen as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.' Matthew 28:5,6

What a day for rejoicing we have had! What a day of rejoicing we look forward to when God tells Jesus to gather us home to be with Him! Hosanna, Hosanna!

We are rejoicing with you all for God's greatness in all things. He is so wonderful, merciful, kind, faithful, loving, and the list goes on---.
I have been praying so earnestly for all of you, always remembering to request extra strength and wisdom for Mom and Dad. I have a very special place in my heart for Deanna; I know what it is like being a mother. So I always request an extra amount of wisdon, strength and grace for her. Praise God, "Dr. Dee" is doing a marvelous job! I love you, daughter-in-love! I praise God for ALL of you, you are so special!

Our hearts are just full of praise, love and thanksgiving to the Lord for who He is and all He is doing in lives. And our hearts are full of love for all of you!

Winston Churchill was approached by a lady who was very angry about a statement he had made. She shook her finger at him and said, "If you were my husband, I would poison your tea!"

He looked at her and replyed, "Lady, if you were my wife, I would drink it!"

Jesse - my daughter Kat works each day to eat and keep up her weight - there just are times her body does not want food, nothing sounds good or tastes good to her. I know what you are dealing with is way beyond this, but I do make her drinks, trying to pack in nutrition, just like your Mom is doing. I have found that mixing vanilla Ensure with some vanilla ice cream and various kinds of fruit (we like mixed berries you can buy frozen) makes it more appealing to Kat. Sometimes we do chocolate Ensure with vanilla ice cream . . . and I try to stay away from it because I have no problem keeping the weight on! I used to puree vegetables and would sneak them in food she liked, hoping to get more nutrition in her, but that girl can spot a carrot speck a mile away! I urge Kat to eat a few bites every hour because she often is not able to do a full meal . . . less is better but just more often. So that is my two cents for what we do - you do have the best Mom there working with you! And, I have to tell you, knowing you all were home together this Easter made ours all the better too! Love from the Suazos!

Side note, this is the first time I have been able to post on your blog. It never allows me to for what ever reason. I am so...excited.
