Day 14 of Recovery- ANC 20!!!

Team Jesse,

Jess is now starting to produce some ANC! Yay! We have all been waiting for this day, and now we can only hope that she'll be able to leave the hospital as soon as Sunday. Easter, what a great day to go home.

Last night was pretty crazy. At 12:30 a.m. Jesse and I were awaken by our night nurse telling us that were going to have an 18 month old baby as our neighbor. Immediately after saying that, she also told us that one of the private rooms was available. Without a hesitation we both agreed that we should move all our stuff to that room as soon as possible. It took a good half hour or so for us to get all settled. It is so nice to have this room, there is so much more space. God has truly blessed us.

The worst part about last night though was all the beeping. It was ten times worse than usual. Jesse now how this new monitor for her blood pressure, and about five times this loud and annoying alarm went off. Red lights were flashing all over in our room. It was quite a scene.

Since I've been here Jess has only thrown up once, but the pain in her chest is what is keeping us from having a smooth round. I'm hoping and praying that that pain will subside as her ANC goes up more.

I want to just thank you all for your support. We are so grateful to have people like you caring for our dear Jesse and us.

Much love,

Oh wow! I am so glad for you that you got a private room. Thank You Lord! That would have been really difficult to share a room with a baby.

Thank you for the update! I continue to pray and pray for you guys - team catron!

I just got sick again. : ( I think I have been sick almost all of the time Jesse's been in the hospital. It is really bumming me out. I think it is because it is Sophie's first year in preschool.

Anyway, I just wanted to tell you guys that I love you and I'm praying for you!

Praise the Lord for His bountiful goodness and mercies!

It is good to hear of the private room (I think you should have had one all the time), and the ANC going up! God heard us when we prayed, so will keep praising Him that the pain in your chest will go away quickly.

We had a few rays of sunshine, this morning, but it is gone, the wind has come up, and I hear there are predictions of snow by tonight. Yesterday was nice and sunny. Oh well, it is still April, not July!

We love all of you Catrons, and thank the Lord for you!

O Lord our Lord, how excellent is your name in all the earth, who has set your glory above the heavens! Psalms 8:1

One Sunday morning, the pastor noticed little Alex standing in the foyer of the church staring up at a large plaque. It was covered with names and small American flags mounted on either side of it. The six-year old had been staring at the plaque for some time, so the pastor walked up, stood beside the little boy, and said quietly, 'Good morning Alex.'

'Good morning Pastor,' he replied, still focused on the plaque. 'Pastor, what is this? '

The pastor said, 'Well son, it's a memorial to all the young men and women who died in the service.' Soberly, they just stood together, staring at the large plaque..

Finally, little Alex's voice, barely audible and trembling with fear asked,‘Which service, the 8:30 or the 10:30?'

wow! I'm glad that they offered that to you this time. Maybe it will help you heal quicker now that you won't have to get so frustrated with a crying baby. :P
