I took Jesse in to the Outpatient yesterday to have her blood levels checked again. She is just so tired and her legs feel like lead weights, we thought her hemoglobin was low again. It really wasn't to low, but they gave her a bag of blood anyway. Everything in her blood work seemed ok, so we are really not sure why she is so sluggish. We did find out her platelets are only 49. She has to be at 75 to start round 4. I believe Jesse is the first one to be home for 3 weeks between rounds. They really don't want AML patients home more than 12 days. Jesse's body seems to fight the "plan" and I am sure the Doctors are just scratching their heads. It may seem nice that she is home so long, but really it gives her bone marrow a chance to grow leukemia cells, which is why they start the rounds just as quick as they can. We are scheduled to go back in Thursday AM (clents B.day) to check the platelets again. I am sure if they are not at 75, we will go back in Monday to check them again.
Clent is still recovering from his surgery. At night he still wakes up every couple hours, and has to sit at the edge of the bed for a half hour or more to relieve the pain. Slowly he seems to be improving.
Have a great day :)
Much Love, Team Catron
