She will be OK

Good morning to all of Jesse's friends and family

I know everyone is curious and concerned about how Jesse is doing so I am posting a quick up date. I don't know what all they will do to her today but last night they gave her a room on the second floor, room 208a (one we haven't had yet). They gave her two bags of blood and I don't know when they finally started her TPN. I just know that they couldn't give her the TPN until the blood was finished. I think she will have an ECHO today to check the pressure of her heart valve working. They did a CT scan and EKG while she was in the emergency area (for 6 hours). Those results came back OK.

Jesse's hemoglobin count was dangerously low (those are the blood cells that carry oxygen to the body and brain) and that is what caused her to turn white and nearly die. We don't know (yet) why this would happen or what would keep it from happening again. Dee and I have decided that any time she is at home we will be bringing her in to the Out Patient part of the Hospital to draw blood and check her vitals about every third day just to keep track of where she is. This is the second time we have almost lost her when she is home trying to recover.

I don't want to get into my personal feeling and what this is doing to Dee and I (and our whole family). I will ask that people that pray... to pray for strength for our family (and Jesse's strength). This test (cross) gets heavy to bear at times.

Thanks for all of your prayers and thoughts. Have a great day

Thanks for the update. Jesse you have been on my heart and mind since I read your blog yesterday morning. I just want you to know that we love you and will always be standing in prayer for you.

Know that God is carrying this Cross for you. He already did this for you. Cast all your burdens on Him, that's what He wants from you. He doesn't want you to do it. Remember He is with you, carrying you right now. Your whole family. Just think of that poem Footprints.

As I think of you and your family, I think of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. The Firey test they went through, that they had to go through in order to be free. But remember in this great story, there were 4 in that fire, not 3. They were put through the fire, a test, but they were not alone. You will come out of this fire, untouched, not smelling like smoke at all, but the smell of Jesus, His sweet fragrance.

I love you guys.

Catron Crew -

Our prayers are with you, praising the Lord for His protection over Jess yesterday. Yet burdened for all of you as you face yet another round.

We are standing in the gap for you all. Lifting you up and asking our precious Savior for more grace, more peace, and mercy.

May the loving arms of our Jesus surround you and protect you. Shield you from the doubt that comes when things are tough and guard your hearts against discouragement.

I was reading in my online devotions this morning and this was the verse of the day! Perfect!

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” - Joshua 1:9

Claiming this for all of you today and every day.

Much much love.

David, Erica, Nichol, Skyler, Olivia, & Silas

Dear Catron family,

We want you to know that we are lifting your family up in prayer. Every day our thoughts and prayers are with each one of you.

None of us can begin to know what each of you is going through but our Father in heaven does!!

"The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." Deuteronomy 31:8

Love from our family to yours!

We may never know the why's... I just read yesterdays post and I am glad that things are loooking a modicum better. I have not posted much due to my own trials but you JESSE dear and your whole family are almost ALWAYS on my mind.

You were an example of strength for my personal trials this last month and an inspiration. That may not help you much right now but I want you to know that.

KOTA you handled things well. I miss getting to see you guys once in a while. Give your mom and dad a big hug from me and your sis's too Love DARLA

You're always on my mind and my prayers. I'm so relieved to hear you're okay after yesterday's episode. May God's loving care be upon you.

I would like to share a scripture that I read the other day as I was doing my study in Daniel. May this be an encouragement for you.

Isaiah 43:2: When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

When I read the blog, the first thing that hit me was the title, "SHE WILL BE OK". AMEN!!! God will get her/all of you through this. That is the big picture and we are standing in prayer for each of you!
