Half way Done

Good Morning, Jesse is half way done with round 4 chemo. But, as we all know, the hard part is when her ANC hits 0.

Why do you think that you hear over and over from your parents to cover your mouth when you cough? I know, I know-pick me. You cover your mouth when you cough, because you might vomit at the same time and cover your mom and your bed with green glow in the dark vomit. As you might have guessed, this is what happened last night at midnight. Who wouldn't want to change all your bedding in the middle of the night?

As we have learned, anything can happen, and you just have to be gracious and go with the flow.

Today Jesse will receive two blood transfusions, her hemoglobin is 7. Hopefully it will make her feel just a little better. Since Monday night, she has thrown up 31 times. This is probably the worst she has ever felt. They are trying everything they have to help her, but so far nothing works.

If we get a bone marrow update, I will add it later in the day.

Much Love,

Team Catron

Team Catron,

Jesse, we hope you feel better soon. We wish you faith and courage during your 4th round.

To your parents: You are the epitome of wonderful, caring, and loving parents. Keep strong. Be brave. Believe.

Also, I never heard of "dump" cake and looked it up on the internet...I am going to try it for my family.

Jesse, we pray for you and your family every single day and look forward to your day of recovery.

Oh my, what a time you guys have had. Dee you are a trooper! I used to work in day care and got thrown up on many times! But for you at midnight and changing sheets, clothes, etc. - no fun!

It just isn't right that modern medicine doesn't have SOMETHING to help with this vomiting. Jesse, you are amazing to go through all this with such strength, faith and courage. We so admire you and your family.

Our wishes and prayers are for this to all be behind you and your family life back to "normal". It WILL happen, hang in there!

Wow Jesse. The hits just keep on coming. We are praying for you to feel better, and to have a better recovery period than you are probably expecting. We are also praying for good news on the test results. Your strength continues to shine through, even if you're not feeling strong at the moment.

We're praying for the rest of you Catrons as well, that you keep strong, healthy, and continue to lean on the Lord!

Love in Christ,
Allen and Teddy

Why do you have to "put your two cents in".. but it's only a "penny
for your thoughts"? Where's that extra penny going to?

"O praise the Lord, all you nations: praise Him all you people. For His merciful kindness is great towards us, and the TRUTH of the Lord endures for ever. Praise the Lord." Psalms 117.

'Be strong and of good courage,' Catrons, 'for the Lord your God is with you wherever you are.' That is what God told Joshua when he was facing a battle, and that is what He is telling you. God's Word is True, He cannot lie.

I enjoy reading the book of Joshua. God tells Joshua so often, "If you do this, I will do that", and Joshua 'observed to do' all God told him to, and God did everything He told Joshua He would do.

Jesse Girl, stand strong. Even when the tears come from pain and tiredness, in your mind, stay strong in the Lord. He will not fail you. It is in our MINDS where we stand firm, or fall. We must not let Satan trick us into negative thinking and his lies. We have to CHOOSE to trust God and praise Him. I am continually asking Him to cover your mind with His protection. And remember, when satan comes whispering lies, you can tell him there is no room for him, because you are covered in the blood of Jesus, and he (satan) can't cross the blood-line.

Here I go sermonizing again; but Precious, I love you so much, and just want you to know now, while you are young, some of the things it has taken me a long life-time of pain and failings to learn.

We are so very proud of you and your courage and strength!
