Day 5 of Recovery - ANC 680

Good Morning,

Jesse's ANC is slowly creeping down to zero. It is just taking longer because she did not receive the other chemo drug because of her heart. Once she gets to zero, she will stay there about 5 or so days, and then make her way back up to 250 (another 8 days or so) and then on her way home for a week. It really seems that time is just slowly going by this round because she feels so good. She had three glasses of apple juice yesterday, and a jello. We are trying to slowly get her stomach to accept food. It would be amazing to not have to give her IV nutrition at home this round. We are hoping that she is home mid April, and will start her last round of chemo the beginning of May.

Today her Uncle Ken and Anne will be staying the night. We hope they have a fun time, and can keep Jesse's mind off the road ahead. Dakota and Mckenzie are going to a concert tonight with the youth at church, and Clent and I will be going to dinner with friends (I think this is what is called a date) Clent and I do not get much time alone, so it will be a blessing to spend time together.

Have a great Friday,

Team Catron

Jesse

Glad to hear you are getting a little something to eat and stay down, and that you are feeling better this round. Someday soon you'll be back tackling a big cheese burger, fries, and all the good stuff. Tell your Mom and Dad to have a great time on their date tonite. They deserve a little time alone together now and then. Also say Hi to your Uncle Ken and Aunt Anne. I'm sure they'll keep you well entertained this evening. I really appreciated them picking me up at the airport when I came down to visit in December.

I hope all of you have a great weekend!! We miss you all.

Love from The Rieger's

"Every word of God is pure: He is a shield (protection)unto them that put their trust in Him." Proverbs 30:5 "Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Isreal, who only does wonderous things." Psalms 72:18

Hi Jesse; We are so happy and thankful that you continue to feel good, and are doing so well! I am praising God continually. I wake up during the night(often)and I am saying "thank you Jesus, for what you are doing for Jesse." Circumstances does not change His love and faithfulness to us.

I am so glad Uncle Ken and Aunt Anne get to stay with you tonight. Seeing the way you wrap Uncle Ken around your little finger, you should have a blast! I know they will enjoy being able to spend time with you.

I did get some of the daffodils and onions planted the other day. I finished the daffodils and some iris, yesterday, in between rain showers. Last night I planted seeds in styrofoam coffe cups I had saved from Hardy's, and put them in a little make-shift green house this morning. I still have lots more to put out, but at least I got started. I will have to make more room on my back porch for more.

Greetings to all the family, with prayers, blessings, and lots of love--

Jesse,

I am so glad to hear that your ANC has dropped. Seems like quite a bit from the other day. I am praying for a speedy recovery for this round for you to be able to enjoy your days at home and when your big sis gets to visit you too. Continuing to pray for ya. Stay strong in heart, He definitely has yours in His hands.

Love,

Sammy
