Day 3 of Recovery

Good Morning Everyone,

Wow it's been a while since I've written Jesse's blog. I think yesterday and the beginning of this day is the best that Jesse has felt in a long time. When I came here around 1:00 me and Jess got the chance to catch up on some things which was so nice. She then took a shower and I waited for her in there in case she needed any help....plus she wanted my company anyways. Man, it was sooo hard to breath lol. We listened to song of the silly and ridiculous songs that I downloaded on my ipod, lets just say that she got a laugh out of some of them. Later we also watched the movie Inkheart, that was a very good movie, THANK YOU JUDY!!!

I think around 5:30 our dad stopped by to chill a lil bit. Jesse misses him so much, it's a good thing that hes going to start spending the night again next week. We had some super good laughs by going over these youtube videos. If you all get the chance, check out this boy named Fred, his videos are a tad annoying but there pretty funny at the same time. Another video that never fails to bring a smile to Jesse's face is STUART! It's always a joy to hear my dad laugh at those videos, it's definitely nice that he has the same sense of humor that we do.

For the rest of that day, me and Jess just watched our TV shows like House and The Biggest Loser.

The night went pretty well, Jesse actually wanted to sleep on the couch so I got to enjoy her bed. She went to the bathroom four times and not once while I've been here has she thrown up. Although whenever she coughed it sent my heart racing because I didn't want this good streak to end.

Her ANC today is 1,274. I guess the longer it stays up the longer she's going to feel well.

This morning we did our makeup with each other, and she already drank a whole cup of apple juice. I can already tell that this day is going to go as well as can be. Later today Jesse's old friend Garrit from fifth grade is coming by to see her. I give him props because for him it's going to be a shock, I don't think he actually knows what it's going to be like to see her, but I know it will be a good experience.

We just found out that Jess might be able to change rooms and have it to ourselves for at least a day. It will be nice to change because our neighbors now don't have any consideration for Jesse's nausea, they always bring in strong smelling foods that makes Jesse feel sick to the stomach. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Please pray that the Lord will bless the rest of this day.

Much love,

~Kota~

Sounds like a very good sister (and then dad) day! Enjoy! I am a bit "unhip" on all the youtube and facebook stuff, but will have to check out the ones you laughed at. Everyone can use a good laugh. Hope you got the solo room, maybe you could have it for awhile - that would make your stay so much nicer.

Enjoy your movie and tv show watching. With a dad like Clent aren't you really into March Madness like we are??? :) Trying to figure out how to do that smiley icon just took me 5 minutes, I'm such a dork!!!!!

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you, each day makes recovery closer.

Love from Oregon,
Mark, Toni, Trevor and Austin (and our treasured lab Abby gives you a big kiss)

You two look sooo cute in the photo! And it sounds like you guys are having fun. I never had a sister growing up, but I bet its the 'Bomb!' Ha Ha! I hope my girls grow up with the type of love you two have for eachother. : )

After the christening of his baby brother in church, Jason sobbed all the way home in the back seat of the car. His father asked three times what was wrong. Finally, the boy replied, "That preacher said he wanted us brought up in a Christian home, and I wanted to stay with you guys."

We are so thrilled with the good reports!! We rejoice with you every minute. I know, Jesse and Dakota, how thrilled you are to be feeling good together, and are enjoying every minute. I know you both enjoyed "Dad's" visit as much as he did.--God has blessed you all so very much.

We love you all beyond measure--
