Fun with Family - ANC 168

Yesterday was really fun, my uncle Ken and aunt Anne came and chilled with me. Ken stayed the night but didn't get very much sleep =( We played a lot of games yesterday. We played Skip-Bo, Scrabble, and Uno. Uno was fun we played so many times and a lot of the games went by quick because I'm pretty rad at that game ;D
(Uncle Ken here. Just a quick note - when playing games with Jesse watch her closely. She CHEATS!!! Especially at Scrabble where she makes up her own rules as she goes along. Who knew that you could use proper nouns and Latin words?!?!?! We had a great day though and cheating didn't help all the time. It was wonderful to spend so much time with her and she looks and sounds wonderful! Can't wait till this is over and she can be this way all the time.)

Today I get to meet with Ethan. I am pretty nervous, don't really know why though. Also Matt is coming =) he is going to stay the night tonight and I get to beat him in some games =P

My ANC went down a lot!!! It is 168. Today and yesterday I had to receive two units of platelets because they were only 18. If you dont have enough platlets, and you get a cut, the bleeding would not stop, so they are very important.

Good morning Jesse girl
The last few days have been so uplifting reading and hearing how much better you feel with the new meds.
Grampa and I are working on the house, today we are installing tile in the front intrance, It only took us all day yesterday to cut the tile for a 4x4 area don't tell your Dad. We had so much fun doing the laundry and small bath that we decided to let someone else do the master bath.
We hope your day goes well ove you lots.

Hi Jesse! Tito and I had a lovely dinner with your Mom and Dad last night. They are amazing people and we had such a good time getting to know them. Your Mom couldn't get your Dad out on the dance floor, so scold him on that! We are all enjoying reading that you are having better than usual days - makes our day better just to read that. We "visit" you every day and pray for you every day . . . we have friends and family doing the same. . . from across the street, to Colorado, Tennessee, Texas, California and even Japan (our son). Wouldn't it be fun to hang a map on your wall and stick a pin in every state where there are prayers going on - that would be a full map!

Hey Jesse, so thankful you are continuing to do well. We are praying for a pain-free ANC-0 and recovery time: no sores, no infections, no nausea--just smooth sailing. It can happen, and we will give all the glory to God!

Yesterday and today, I have just enjoyed chuckling over the fun I knew you and Uncle Ken and Aunt Anne would have. I am so glad you had that time together. I know you will enjoy the time with Matt today and tonight.

Prayers, love and God's blessings for all of the family--

A little boy was overheard praying: "Lord, if you can't make me a better boy, don't worry about it. I'm having a real good time like I am".

3-year old Reese: "Our Father, who does art in heaven, Harold is His name. Amen".

I have been so filled with joy hearing that your bone marrow came back clean. I was so thankful to the Lord, with eyes filled with tears, I praise God for this great news.

It is wonderful to hear that you've been playing games and having fun making up your own words (I like that about you).

Praying that each day will continue to be better and better.

Love to you girl!
