God is healing her slowly but surely - ANC 0

Good morning everyone,

After a week of not being able to see Jess because of my cold, it was really great to have been able to see her yesterday. I have missed her so much. The days that I missed though I found that things have changed a lot. I have never seen her elbows in such bad shape, thank God they don't hurt. It was pretty weird to see that big white sore on her tongue also. It just looks like some mucus that you should be able to spit out.

Everything becomes really sad when she starts to vomit. I can't imagine what she feels like. Everytime she has to hunch over and use her arms to put pressure on her chest. Their upping the dose of one of her medications, so hopefully some of her pain will be relieved when she starts to puke again.

Yesterday when I came to the hospital, Jesse was awake so I thankfully got to talk and catch up with her for a bit. She was surprised when I told her that I got my license. We have been waiting for this day for a long time now. We always said that we would have tons of girls days where we would just go out, shop, have coffee and just be the cool Catrons who now get to drive about. Those days are on hold but I promised her that we would have the BEST time of our life when we get the chance.

We watched a lot of TV yesterday. Appaloosa was a bomb cowboy movie. Afterwards she slept for a bit and when she woke up I gave her a sponge bath right before Smallville started. She fell asleep once again and left me to watch Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice by myself lol.

Last night went as well as could be. She told me that she got up twice to go to the bathroom. On her last run to make it, which was at 6:45 a.m., she started vomiting again. She has puked twice more since then. Hopefully the meds that shes taking now will help out a little.

Well, I'll be leaving today around 1-2, it's the big poppas turn again.

I want to thank you all for your prayers, God is answering them.... just slow and steady I guess.

Much love,

~Kota~

Dakota ~ Slowly but surely is better than not. I can only imagine how hard it must be to be patient. Does Jesse have ANC yet? Praying that she does, or she gets some in today's time!

Praying for you and Jesse extra today. Stay healthy! (No more colds!)

Oh.... and congratulations on your driver's license. I know you and Jesse will have an absolute blast together when Jesse is all done and this is part of her amazing testimony. :-)

"Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain path, because of my enemies. I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. The Lord will command His loving kindness in the day time, and in the night His song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life."

Good evening, Catron Family; One more little step towards victory! The going is slow, but it's going, not standing still.--Thank you, Jesus! Continue to lean on the Lord and gain strength from Him until weariness does not make you weak and faint. ---So easy to write; so difficult to practice at times. I am 'sermonizing' to myself, as I write. :)

Our cousin, Karen, called me yesterday afternoon. She was asking about Jesse; and telling me of the different cousins and family members she had called to tell them about Jesse, and how they were passing it on, and praying. It really thrilled me. We have all gone our separate ways and pretty much lost track of each other: it was nice to hear that we are still "family".

Aunt Merna, Woody, and Unc send their love and prayers to all of you, as do the aunts, uncles, cousins and the church family here.
And you KNOW that Grandpa and I continually reach out to you with our love and prayers.

Dakota, Congratulations!! I knew you could do it!

Dearest Team Jesse ~
Wanted you to know you were on the minds and in the prayers of a bunch of us last evening. We got together when Nick and Lindsay hosted a great b-day party for Malea and relatives. Lindsay did all the cooking--delish. Malea was an angel in a beautiful pink dress. A fun affair. We sent you LOTS of positive energy and we were all hoping your day and evening were better than Wednesday. Blessings to you, brave one. Love, Cindy M.

So we made an ANC count video for you Jess. We did it about two days ago, but being the dorks we are can't figure out how to upload it to YOUTUBE. To be honest, it might be best for all the viewers. I would love to say that we created some elegant dance with a song to Jeremy Camp or Natalie Grant.....but our family is best suited by Shrek :) Either way we are dancing for the ANC count to start a risin! God is healing your hurts and I praise Him for that. I will do our best to download the video soon. We are working on it. My hubby is usually a good computer whiz so it should not be long. If all else fails you will get a great laugh. The kids, Lyn and I made the video at about ten o clock at night...our goofy times :) We love you all and are rooting for the healthy! Congratulations Dakota on your DL.

Love and Blessings,
