ANC 135

Good Morning,

Yea Jesse's ANC is rising, and at 135 today, half way there. We still expect about another week here, she has to many other issue to be thinking of her going home. Here liver needs to be functioning normally, no vomiting and start eating solid foods. Her mouth sores are getting much better, and don't really bother her. Her throat sores are still raw and bleeding, so eating is still out of the question. Jesse's elbows and hand are healing nicely, although her skin is still dark, and the new skin on her elbows is white. We are hoping that it all evens out at some point.

The next two days are Dakotas. I am going to go home and try to enjoy the rain today, I have missed the last couple days of rain (we don't have a window in our cell).
Have a great day, and please say a prayer for Jesse.

Love, Team Catron

Yes! Way to go! Our hearts are jumping for joy, Jesse, and even my feet are air-borne! (I know if you could see that, it would bring a giggle and an "Oh Grandma!) God is so wonderfully faithful! I just read this quote: 'I don't understand the mystery of grace--only that it meets us where we are, but does not leave us where it found us.' Isn't that great?

Another one: 'Extra-ordinary people visulize not what is possible or probable, but rather what is impossible. By visualizing, they begin to see it as possible.' Doesn't that sort of break down to Hebrews 11:1? "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." That is the Kiing James Version. Some of the other versions expound on it and make it clearer. --I could really 'sermonize' on that, but I will let you, and whoever is with you, do that.:)

Continuing to pray, rejoice, believe and praise,

Grandma and Grandpa

You dont know me I'm Corina. I found your blog from Julie Krombein. She is a childhood good friend of mine. I always say" Any friend of Julie's is a friend of mine." I have been reading your blog and praying for your family. Jesse you sure have a heart for God and God will honor your faithfulness.
About the time you got sick, my brother got sick also. So I always read your blog and found encouragement. My brother has since passed away but you Jesse are full of Life . I want to tell you to STAY STRONG in the knowledge of knowing his mercies are NEW every morning. Keep up the fight.

Glad she is on the way up. The prescription med for oral mucositis that I talked to Deanna about is Caphosol. It only treats oral, but it's better than nothing! The glutamine can be swallowed if she can keep it down. Our doc gave us a prescription, but you can buy it at a health food store too. Wishing you the best through these hard times!

Sounds like things are progressing slowly but surely. Ugh, not even a window in your "cell"??? That's a bummer. Enjoy a couple days outside Dee! Hope Jesse can soon!

As always, you are all in our prayers.

Hi Jesse,
You don't know me, my name is Sonia and my husband and I attend Calvary Chapel. I've been making freezer meals for your family over the last several weeks.

We have a home group that meets on Thursday nights and we are praying for you. We are going through the Truth Project and learning how we've compromised God's truth with the world's truths. Check out their website:

Our home group has been praying for you and it's so great to hear that your ANC count has gone up. We will continue to pray for complete and swift healing.

We have had a lot of cancer in our family over the last 6 years. It is a nasty tool of the enemy's but God is so good and loving. Know that He is sitting in that hospital room with you at all times, keeping watch over you and your family.

God bless and heal you,
Sonia Estes

Hi, this is Kristen Oja. Jesse may not remember me, but Deanna would. Roger and Tonny told me about your web site and I have been checking it daily since then. Though I have not yet contacted you, I wanted you to know that I have been thinking about and praying for Jesse and your family every day. I am now receiving e-mail alerts and I was so excited to read the latest post. Jesse has got to be the toughest young woman on the face of the Earth, and it sounds like she has a tremendous support system in her family and friends. With Love and Support,
Kristen Oja (and my son, Nicholas)
