Good Morning Prayer Warriors,
Dee and Jesse are checking into the Hospital today. Jesse's platelet count is 70 and is very low. Normally that would be to low to admit her but her health is in critical danger. Her Hemoglobin is only 7. That is really low. That is why she has had so much trouble getting around and been so tired. Thet are going to give her an immediate transfusion. She has lost even more weight at home and now she is 122lbs. They have found a Nodule in here lungs. They fear it might be a fungus that years ago would be something that could kill her. They say if it is what they think it is they have medicine for it now. They are going to give her a CT scan tomorrow, if this other medicine helps her feel better, to make sure it's what they think it is. They will also give her a different CT scan, if Jesse can hold down the liquid she has to drink, to check her stomach and see why she is constantly throwing up.
She is in the out patient building for part of today. She has a nice private room with a big TV. But not for long. Her Potassium level is 1.2, which is dangerously low, and her Magnesium level is very low. Her Bellyruben count is extremely high which has to do with her Kidney function. All that TPN must be taking it's toll.
If you can't tell....we are very worried about Jess. Her health at home seemed to us to be pretty bad but we didn't have any way of testing her to see how bad she really was. She went backwards on her stay home this time.
I talked to her on the phone this morning and told her of a really nice guy I met at the gym a while back (ya Mark I'm back in the gym. You think I spanked you in horse bad the last time you were here just wait). Brent told me of his daughter and her heart problems. It really touched my heart to see his emotions for his child (he's a Christian too). He caught me leaving this morning and told me how blessed he was reading the blogs and seeing what Jesse is going through and how she is handling it. Also how it has helped his walk. It came for me at just the right time. He was a messenger from the Lord. I needed someone to prop me up after the weekend we just went through and our conversation, in the middle of the Lobby at the gym, was Heaven sent.
Thank you all for your encouragement and prayers. You don't know how much it helps my family and I during this struggle when we read how much you care. We know the Lord is in control and is with us but it is so dark at times when I see what Jesse is going through that your words of encouragement help lighten the load.
Thanks again and have a blessed day.
