Day 5 of Recovery ANC 0

Good morning prayer warriors,

So far today Jesse has been in a lot of pain. She has been throwing up blood since last night and it is getting worse. They are going to start her on a PCA, which is a patient controlled analgesics. This should relieve most of her pain and by taking this she'll be able to take her magic mouth wash every four hours instead of every six. Soon Jesse will also be receiving platelets, man I hope she will be feeling better after getting all of these things today.

It has to be one of the saddest things to have to watch her hold her throat while she vomiting because of the pain. Then on top of that she starts to cry. I tried to hold it together yesterday when I first saw her like that but having to see my little sister in such pain is just heart breaking.

For now Jesse is asleep, I can't imagine that she got a lot of it last night.

Please pray that God will release her of the pain, that's what she needs more than anything.

Much love,

Praying for God to subside the pain! Stay strong Jesse, God is on your side! "So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most." Hebrews 4:16
Keep running the race and never look back. Everyone here in Cali is praying for you. God bless all of you

Jess and Dakota,

It is so great that you two have the bond that you do. I am sure Dakota that it relieves a good hunk of emotional pain that Jesse has to go through with you being by her side. The family support is so encouraging.

As far as the physical, my prayer is for a release of the physical pain. I pray that the medicine not only works for its purpose but does not provide any unpleasing side effects. I am so sorry you have to go through this Jess. Stay strong as you have. Continue to call on the Lord. He will carry you. We will have the faith of the woman that reached for Jesus' garment. That simply by the touch and faith, your pain is taken care of.

The fact that you have Casting Crowns song, "Praise You In this Storm" is a huge testament to your faith. "But once again, I say Amen....!"

We love you Jess. Blessings from Oregon.

Blessings and love to the rest of the Catron Clan from Oregon.

I hope you feel better Jesse! And Kota, you are an amazing BIG SISTER! I bet a lot of younger sisters wish they had someone like you. I know that if Emili, Natali, or Ben come down really ill, I'd be right there with them as well as you have been!

I'll keep praying that you two feel better! I can't imagine the burden that you are feeling having to watch Jesse go through this.

Love you both! - BriBri

Lord Jesus Christ,

Good Shepherd of the sheep,

You gather the lambs in your arms

and carry them in your bosom:

We commend to your loving care Jesse.

Relieve her pain,

guard her from all danger

restore to her your gifts of gladness and strength,

And raise her up to a life of service to you.

Hear us, we pray, for your dear Name's sake.

If any one else did this, I wouldn't believe it. I just spent a lot of time writing you a message, telling you a lot of nothing important stuff about our day, accidently hit the side of the computer that has the delete button on it, and you guessed it! Seeing as how I did it, I believe it. It is 11 PM here, I won't repeat.

I did say how thrilled I am when I see a note from Jill. I know it was a "God thing" that she 'accidently' came across your Journal, and God laid it on her heart to pray for you and encourage you. Who but our God would so thoughtful,loving and caring?

'The light of God surrounds us;
The love of God enfolds us;
The power of God protects us;
The presence of God watches over us.
Wherever we are God is, and all is well.'

Dakota, you are special to God also. Keep singing praises to Him, He loves it!

You are both so special to us. I hold you so very close in my heart. We will keep praying, praising, and trusting: Victory is coming, keep looking for it!

I trust you are feeling better tonight, Jesse, and have sweet, healthy sleep. I have asked God to hold you really close in His arms, until you can hear His heart beat and know He is there.

Deanna, Jesse & family-
After speaking with you today, I feel that my own words cannot express how sorry I am for all that you are having to endure. I want to encourage you, and come up with beautiful flowing words to say, but it's all beyond my limited capacity.
I've been reading through the book of Job, looking for some answers, and wow- is that an incredible book, filled with questions, doubts, whys, and God answering Job, and showing Himself Powerfully.
Ch 21 jumped out at me on how we want to question God, and Why people who don't know God, their lives seem to go great. This is obviously in God's Word for us to gleen from. It's Very Real.
Then ch.38 jumped out at me as to who God is! Powerful, Awesome. But Sovereign in all He does. Man can never Fully understand the ways God has allowed. But we can read through this book and see how God works All Jobs misery out, for Good, and God's Glory!!!
What a Testamony!!
Just think.... when we are all standing before the Lord, We will All see the Testamony not only of Job, but of Jesse!!!! OMGosh what a day that will be!!
Right now in the Midst of the fire, we can only cry out to God, and plead for Mercy, and peace.
The enemy will do Everything possible to get us to curse God, and Doubt that He exists.
But we Have to rely on His Promises He has given us in His Word to get us through. He is Faithful, and He will come through for Jesse, and be Glorified.
We are praying for God to be there with Jesse,(as He Promises "I will Never leave you or forsake you") and give her all the strength, and endurance, and His peace, to go through whatever He has allowed. We pray for Mercy and Faith, as we can't see all the reasons why she has to go through these trials.
As my Mother used to say to me when I was hurting..."this too shall pass my dear."
We love you all, and will continue to diligently Pray for all of you.
