We're Back

Hello Everyone,

Well, we are re-admitted to the hospital, Jesse's ANC is 1400. It went very smoothly, and we even ended up in a private room for now. They are short on space, and they wont allow Jesse to room with a teenage boy, (your welcome Matt) so we are in the bone marrow transplant room.
Her first dose of chemo will start in a few hours, so she will be hooked back up to her old friend Baxter (the med pole).
It was actually nice to see all the friendly nurses again. Everyone greets you and makes you feel welcome.

We did find out that they made an error regarding the bone marrow match. At first they said neither Dakota or Mckenzie was a match, but it turns out that Mckenzie is a perfect match. She scored 6 out of 6 for all the matching points. This is just nice to know in case she ever has a relapse. We will do our best to keep Mckenzie safe and secure!!
Jesse is in good spirits, and knows this is the process she must go through. She is a brave young lady, and warms our hearts to see her going though this without complaining and being to discouraged. It is also encouraging to see a couple other kids in here that are just about finished with all of the rounds and will be going home for good. That will be us one day in the near future. This is just a short journey compared to the long life of blessings we have to look forward to.

Back for round TWO! One down, one beginning, and three to go! Your one tough girl! You'll get through this!! Praying for you today, tonight, tomorrow, and the weeks to come. I love you sweet girl. I know this is tough on you, your strength is amazing. HUGE HUGE HUGS!

As you go back for round two, we are praying healing, for the Lord to keep you from the nausea and infections and viruses, that you'll be able to rest and eat, that He would continue to give you and Team Catron the strength, courage and resolve to meet every day's challenges, and that Baxter would roll smoothly.

We just want to say hello and let you know we're thinking of you today (and always!) I'm glad you have some privacy for now. Laynie has a message for you...."I LOVE YOU JESSE!" In regards to todays photo she says, "I LOVE my girl cousins! They have pretty dresses!" She also asks who that little boy is with you and Kota. LOL! Oh 3 is a funny age. We wish you much peace during this next round of chemo! We're rooting for you Miss Jesse!

Hi Jesse Dee, I am there in spirit with you. I love you so much.
Sorry I didn't write yesterday. I was on the run all day, then made jello and fudge cookie bars and ran to a neighboring town for the annual Avon Christmas potluck and party. It was late by the time I got home and settled. You had some great messages, though, and I am so pleased. Your messages are such blessings to me.
I am anxious to hear how Baby Brady is doing, when you find out. There are so many who are also praying for him.
I must get ready for church, where everyone will be praying for you, Darling.

Round Two! Thank you for being so strong Jesse. "The joy of the Lord is my strength!" The joy of the Lord is your strength and He is lavishing it on you abundantly. Praise God that McKenzie is a match! I pray that the storm is calmed for you, that you can just sit calmly in the lap of Jesus and be comforted by his love. Continuing to pray for your strength, courage and your health.

We pray that God holds you and your family very near as you travel through this journey, test.(Pastor says tha God test us all the time.)You and your family show us all how glorefing faith is, and when this journey is all said and done. Hi Jesse! I was up late and I can't believe Meg is asleep. I thought I'd just use a few minutes to check your blog. I love what anonymous wrote.

We watched Chronicles of Narnia 2 tonight. It was pretty good. I love the symbolism. Of course there were some cheesy parts but overall very good. I like the part where Asylan and Lu are talking and that's all I'll say.

I love the song that was played on it and didn't realize it was from the movie. This is the vid from youtube in my name link. Hope it doesn't give awawy tooo much of the movie!

I love the analogy your parents make in the posting that this is but a short part of your journey. Life is a journey - many bumps along the way that absolutely make us appreciate the good times. So important to have that perspective - to appreciate the good times, the love, family, friends, and you at such a young age have that perspective! What a lovely young woman you will be in life, knowing all that you will know, the empathy you'll have. I have such a friend in my life - she's in her 60's now, but she's had a journey like no other that I know and she is today an absolute angel walking on earth - such a pillar of strength and wisdom. That will be you, Jesse. Obviously there are great things in store for you!

Sorry I haven't written latly.. The prayers and the thoughts have not stoped though..Just want to let you know how amazed I am by you and your family, I don't think you know how many people you are impacting in such powerful way right now..your continued faith, your love, your joy.. and you still keep that beautiful smile that touches all of us.. we love you and your family and will continue to pray that God gives you strength, peace, and rest as you go through round two...
