Day 8 Recovery

Wow, Its Afternoon already-

Jesse had a pretty good night. She is starting to think about food again. Maybe in a few days she will try something-her request this time is Chocolate slimfast. She has a slight fever on and off, but nothing to terrible to report :) Matt will be staying the next two days, because Dakota graduates tomorrow. Way to go Kota!!!! Jesse's ANC will remain at 0 for a few days, then slowly work its way to 250, the magic number.

Clent will be able to see Jesse tomorrow, it will have been 2 weeks since they saw each other. I don't think Jesse has been away from us more than a week her entire life. This has been really hard on all of us.

Have a great day everyone, and thank you for checking in.

Way to go Kota!! You are awesome!

Praying that your appetite increases mightily and you are able to down a few slimfasts! :)

My wife recommends JambaJuice to you if you can take it. Enjoy your time with Matt and your dad. I hope to have half the heart and strength of your dad if our family ever has to go through something like this. Praying for all of you!

In Him,

Oh HAPPY DAY!! I am so glad you are doing better, Jesse!! That is just what we are praying for.

Remember to take just one little sip (or bite) of whatever you are going to try. We don't want any repeats of cheeseburgers!:)
Tell the gentle giant (Dad) to give you gentle hugs for us, tomorrow. I know you are both excited! --I really am!

Love you bushels, pecks, and hugs around the neck, and we will keep praising the Lord for what He is, and will be, doing for you.

WOOHOO for sure! Thinking about food is a good thing! Praying for continued strength and that your ANC comes up quickly.

I was reading in a magazine the other day that high protien shakes help combat nausea for chemo patients. Some new fad theory but hey - worth a shot!

Continuing to pray for you and your entire family. Love you lots and lots.

Congratulations Dakota!!!

It seems just like yesterday you guys were in the Gold Hill house and coming into Lindsay's room, fighting over the remote or hanging out by the pool. Way to go what a great milestone!

Hang in there! My prayer is that your stomach settled, your counts rise and that your heart able to listen to the Lord's work, your comforted by those big arms of your dad's both Heavenly and your daddy-o! I pray for your steadfast return to your house for Christmas.
Lord please rise that ANC count for Jesse healthy and quickly.

Much Love,

Jesse, awe... my heart is filled with joy even at the thought of you starting to think about food. Yah Hoo! Thank you Lord!

We are so glad to hear that Clint gets to come back to the hospital to see you. That will be so nice for you guys to be together after two weeks. : )

We continue to pray for you daily!

Our hearts have been filled with love for you --- as we pray and pray and pray for you.

Hey Jesse.. Glad to hear that you are even thinking food. Now here is fun.. Call up the hospital nutritionist. Ask her if you can have a Meghan Shake. That is where it is so thick that the straw STANDS without moving in the shake! Hey maybe a peppermint one would taste good!

I hope Erica is on to something (way to go Erica)

Okay nothing much in the Name Link but I'll have something for you to look at. Love the verse at top of page it is one of my favorites. I used to love the song.

I am including link to Transiberian Orchesta and the Dancing Lights. Make sure to hit the full screen button! Here is a snopes write up on it for additional information.
if you like that one this one has better music its Carol of the Bells with God Rest you Merry Gentleman as the base.

God sure did give people such a variety of talents. It constantly amazes me!
