Chemo Day 6

Hi ya everyone,

Yesterday was a pretty good day. Me and Jesse basically just chilled all day. We watched about five movies and played cards, I beat her pretty bad in gin. Throughout the whole day Jesse ate like a pig. She ate three hot pockets, egg rolls, pizza pockets, life savers, soda, Doritos, etc.

Around six or so two of our dearest friends from church, Teddy and Alan, came to pay us a visit. We talked about Jesse's stay and what is basically going through her mind and what not. We showed them some pictures of when me and Jess were little kids. Teddy was surprised to see that we really didn't look like us. They both got a few good laughs out of them, and also some of the pictures of my moms old hair styles, and once again....my dads short shorts.

We want to thank you Teddy and Alan for your friendship and kindness, and thank you for coming to see us, we really appreciate it. We have missed the church and the wonderful people who attend it. Also, I want to thank everyone else. I know how you all our praying for Jesse and our family. There are no words to express our gratefulness for you all, it's a really good feeling to be so cared and thought about.

Oh...and I would like to thank everyone who prayed for the increase of Jesse's appetite. She is at this very moment eating another hot pocket and fruit...YEAH!!!
We are now accompanied by the presence of Jesse's boyfriend Matthew. He says hi to everyone...hes so silly :)

As some of you may know, our dad has caught a pretty gnarly cold. PLEASE pray for a fast recovery and that the Lord will keep his hands over our mom and McKenzie, we can't afford for them to become sick as well.

Have a good and safe day our friends! :)

Oh hey did you read my article on spontaneous combustion. Kind of funny but I made 50 cents on it so far. Maybe it was the Santa hat.

WEll I will start looking for more fun stuff on the net to link to. I am sure my articles are not all that exciting. HAH

Jesse and Dakota: Thanks for letting us stop by yesterday. We had a great time talking with you both! It's such a blessing to see the love you have for each other as sisters. The Lord so often uses tough times like these to strengthen that love even more.

We definitely miss seeing you all at church. Jesse bracelets are a common sight there, and there are so many people continuing to pray for you.

Clent and Deanna: OK, we did laugh at the pictures. But the truth is we have many of ourselves that are just as funny (or funnier). Those were tough times for fashion!

We're praying today for quick restoration of Clent's health, for the Lord to guard everyone else in the family from sickness, for rest and an amazingly fast recovery from this round of treatment, and that you'll be able to enjoy lots of nausea-free Hot Pockets (that part's a miracle under almost any circumstance!).

"He who watches over you will not slumber" (Psalm 121, v3)

Love in Christ,
Allen and Teddy

Jesse girl, I pray the iron stomach holds firm and does not corrode and get holes in it! Where is the fruit, veggies, toast and milk? :) I am so thrilled you can hold it all down. Thank you, dear Jesus, for answering prayer! I give Him all of the glory, honor, praise and thanks that I can. He is so good and faithful, in good times and bad. He is still GOD, and doesn't change.
It has been a little chilly here. 18 degrees last night, -1 with the wind chill factor. It got up to about 45, today. The sun shone, though, so it didn't seem so cold.
I am praying God will put a hedge around all of you, and a covering over you all, that no cold germs or other illnesses get through to any of you, and that your Dad gets well fast. I know he is have quiet(?)little fits inside because he can't see and be with you.
We love all of you dearly.

Dakota, did you have a good time in Pescott?

Love the analogy that "Jesse ate like a pig" - HA! You look at her sweet face and it just doesn't fit, but I have a 17 year old, lovely young lady, and just last night I suggested she just put her face in the popcorn bowl considering the handfuls she was trying to smash in that sweet little mouth - might save time and make less mess - HA! Eat with gusto!
