Recovery Day 5

Jesse is having a bad hair day!!! She lost 80% of her hair in one day. Clent and I will be heading for the mall tomorrow for some scarves and hair. She has her 5th spinal tap today, and we are expecting a pain free tap. Jesse actually looks forward to them now. She likes to be knocked out for a few hours. Clent has been asking for the same drug, but so far they have not given in to his demands-muscle has gotten him nowhere. She is still on 4 antibiotics to try and fix the inflammation in her intestines. Because of the antibiotics, her kidneys are beginning to weaken, but they are not overly concerned yet. They will space and alternate her antibiotics to lesson the strain.

Thank you for your prayers and support, we are truly grateful.

Jesse,
I bet you are a beautiful baldie!!! Hey I wonder if your hair will come back curly or blonde or something? Glad your spinal taps arent something you totally dread. We have been praying alot for you, especially cuz I knew the hair would be coming out soon but God gave me a verse for you this morning..Its Isaiah 30:15 it says...
Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you: he rises to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him.
Wow those promises are for you!! Cling to them and remind him of his promises as you pray and spend time with Him, he loves you soo much and is gonna get you through every part of this process from the porta potty to picking out your wigs. I praise God every time I pray that you have such an amazing family to help Love you through this, it is truley a blessing. The bible tells us the greatest is Love and you have been blessed with lots of it from your family but also from poeple who hardly know you:)
Love, Korinne and Jeremy

Jesse, I am a friend of your Dads, Don McLaughlin from his work. Our church home team and Bible study is praying for you and your parents. Hang in there and tell Dad not to WHINE!!! alot because it is not becoming for a man of his stature. You keeping looking up and God will take care of the rest. He may have a little head wax you could borrow till the new growth starts, but be positive, it will return. Maybe curley this time, but Our God has a sense of humor.
