Day 11 of Recovery

Good Morning Prayer Warriors,
Check out Jesse's new hair!! She doesn't even look sick :)
It's my turn to post again all though Lindsay spelled Dee and I again last night. She is leaving back to Eugene today and it feels like I haven't even seen her. Unfortunately she had a misscarriage while she was watching over Jesse. She was about 6 weeks along. Wow! The Catron girls are really getting pounded right now. Lindsay is well grounded in the Lord and knows that God is always in control. That makes it easier (not easy by any means) to trust that it is for the best. It was great to see how supportive sisters are of each other. The bond that all my girls have touched Dee's and my heart. We are a close family and when one hurts we all hurt.

Jesse's ANC has dropped to 75. I guess that could be good news because the white blood cells could have run off to fight a battle with the virus that has shown up in her blood and intestine. She threw up once last night, around 6:30, and went to the bathroom on every hour. The night nurse was great for Lindsay on Tuesday but last night Lindsay was apparently the night nurse. She had to call the nurses station every time the beeper went off. That is part of the hardest thing for the person staying over night because it keeps you awake ALL night. Not whining though because we look across the 16" between the beds and realize Jesse gets that and less sleep.

The Doctors are still playing with the drugs trying to figure out which one will battle the virus the best. We are on a roller coaster with the effects this experimenting is causing. Her temp spikes to 104 out of no where. You can see it coming only by the extreme shakes that she gets.

Please pray for all the Catron girls. Their hearts are strong and they all cling to the Lords words that promise he will never give you more than they can deal with. Boy, they are getting close.

Thanks again for all the support and we really appreciate all the blogs yesterday.

Have a family hug this evening and call your Mom and tell her you love her. I love mine (and Dee's)

Hi Beautiful :)

I am so glad to hear that your health is still making gradual improvements. Hopefully your ANC count will shoot up here pretty soon and you can go home for a lil bit, but then again it's all in God's timing. I have been so happy to hear that through all of this your faith in our loving God has remained consistant I have no doubt that that will be the most challeging part of this whole experience. The enemy only tries to conquer those who are strong in the Lord and you Jesse have definately proven to be a strong young christian woman. I am always praying for you and I can't wait to see you completely overcome this to where it is simply a memory of your past.

I absolutely love the new pictures of you by the way you look incredible!! You are deff putting Mandy Moore to shame. (From A walk to Remember):D I'm looking forward to hearing more good news. Talk to you later Girlie :)

So for today, it's two steps forward, and one step back. It's still progress! And our hearts and prayers go out to Lindsey as well. Sometimes the trials come in the form of combination punches. When King David was under tremendous attack from his enemies, he declared, "If the Lord had not been on our side - they would have swallowed us alive" (Psalm 124).

One thing you can know for sure is that He is on your side. He may not take you out of the battle right away, but he'll lead you and protect you through it. "Our help is in the name of the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth."

Our prayers are continually with you: for healing, rest, God's peace, and record high ANC numbers!

Love in Christ,
Allen and Teddy Lyons

Hi Sweetheart; You are drop-to-the-floor gorgeous! Grandpa and I have decided that if we could look as good as you, we would order some new hair too! And how about that lady with you? Still Miss Oregon runner-up beautiful after--how many years? Surely just a few.

I love you all so much, and wish I could put my arms around all of you, Lindsay and family too, hold you close, and keep all the hurts and disappointments away; but life doesn't work that way. So I will continue to praise the Lord because He is the Lord God Jehovah and has all things in His hands and in control, and stand firm on His Word. Isaiah 40:8 says, 'The grass withers, the flowers fade, but the Word of our God shall stand forever." "And this, to, shall pass"

Our love and prayers always,

Hey Jess! The hair is smexy! I love it....I hope that the ANC count will do whatever it takes to make you better. I pray for you all the time, and I have Applebee's employees, and costomers praying for you as well! and people in my choir! I'm so sorry to hear about Lindsay. That would be very depressing, and discouraging. :( I pray for her to, that she may be able to have another healthy pregnancy. Well i have to go. Here's a quick joke of the day..and then im packing my bags for Prescott. lol

"Miracles Of Modern Medicine"

Two guys were working at a sawmill one day when one of the guys got too close to the blade and cut off his arm. His buddy put the severed arm in a plastic bag and rushed it down to the hospital to get re-attached. The next day he goes to see his chum, and finds him playing tennis. "Incredible!, " says his friend. "Medical science is amazing."
Another month goes by and the same two guys are again at the sawmill working when the same guy gets too close to the spinning blade and this time his leg gets cut off. Again his buddy takes the leg, puts it in a plastic bag and takes it to the hospital to get re-attached. The next day, he goes down to see his chum and finds him outside playing football. "Incredible!, " says his friend. "Medical science is amazing!"

Well another month goes by and again the same two friends are at the mill cutting wood when suddenly the same guy bends down too close to the blade and off comes his head. Well his friend takes the head, puts it in a plastic bag, and heads to the hospital to get it re-attached. The next day he goes to see his friend but can't find him. He sees the doctor walking down the hall and says, "Doc, where is my friend? I brought him in yesterday." The doctor thinks for a minute and says, "Oh yeah, some idiot put his head in a plastic bag and he suffocated."

You are loved Jess. HUGS

For parents: talk to doctors about night nursing shift. Glad you had a good one last night. sometimes they don't' want to interrupt sleep but you shouldn't' have to chase them down either

Your blogs bring tears to my eyes. I think it's so awesome to see and hear that you and your family are so bonded together. I was glad to hear that your sister from Oregon was able to come down and be with you. Our prayers are with her as well. We'll praying that your ANC counts go up and your recovery as well so you can go home soon.

My sister and I share a special bond as well, I know if anything should happen to either one of us we would be there for each thru thick and thin. I just wish she and my niece lived closer to me.
