Day 9 of Chemo.

Good Morning Prayer warriors.

Jesse has been running a 103 temp all night and is still throwing up when she gets up to go to the bathroom. They are still feeding her through a tube since she hasn't held anything down since the half of an English muffin in eight days. The two servings of Platelets are suppose to be here and they will start those soon. She has diarrhea, bleeding gums, and she is spotting blood (they gave her a shot to keep her from having a period but it takes a while to work) and she snores....no wait thats me. She is really getting pounded (it seems its always on my watch) but she is taking on the chin. I wish they would put one of us in a Coma for this six month trial. I hate to see her suffer. I have lost seven pounds this week to her four. This is not a weight loss program I would recommend. Some of the side effects are circles under the eyes, loss of fluid in the tear duct area, and baldness, She is going to hate that one.

Please continue to pray for my sweet Jesse. We can't understand the why's only that God is in control. Apparently I need to lose weight :)

From The K-Love Pastoral Staff.

Clent & Deanna, We prayed for your daughter today believing the Lord will touch her in a special way.

His Word declares in Psalms 55:22 "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall. "

His promises are always TRUE. He also declares that He knows you in Isaiah 43:1 "But now, this is what the Lord says: "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior:"

I know this very hard on you too and we will be praying. Keep us posted from time to time and we will continue to pray for healing.

You guys are such a wonderful family. It's neat to see that you still have a sense of humor through all of this.

Praying lots for all of you!
