It has been a long time since we posted, and so much has happened.
First Jesse and Micah were married July 7th, 2012. We are so happy
for the newlyweds, and the wedding was beautiful. They honeymooned in
California, and had a great time. Within 2 weeks we all moved to
Tulsa Oklahoma to start new jobs. Clents company hired Micah as a
Project Engineer, and together are starting a 6 story bank and parking structure.
Jesse is working at Goddard Daycare, and loving on the children there. Her health
remains stable, she is still doing monthly phlebotomy and visiting her new
Oncologist every 3 months. Jesse is an amazing young lady who continues to inspire us.

All is good

Hello everyone!!  Just an update- jesse had her echo of her heart, and all is normal, she will not have to see the cardiologist for a year! Her MRI on her liver came back. Last year her iron in the liver had a count of 27 now 17, the phlebotomy is working.
Jesse is busy working at Cornerstone Kids daycare, and we are still trying to get her
to take the Math and Reading at the community college to test out of, so she can
start Phlebotomy classes. Dr Boklan was thrilled to know that is what she wants to do, and was surprised that Jesse would like to work at Phoenix Childrens Hospital. What an amazing way to give back-
Have a blessed day

Jesse went to urgent care, and has bronchitis, fluid in her lungs with inflammation.
That is what you get when you love on little kids at the daycare she works at. Jesse, stop kissing the little kids!!!!

Its been a long time

Hello everyone,
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!
We have had a great year, with very few problems Jesse's health. She is continuing phlebotomy, and that has brought her iron count down to 1250. She still needs to
dump another 1200 to be normal. In February, she will go in for another liver scan to see what damage the iron and chemo has, or prayerfully has not done to her liver.
Tomorrow she will be going to urgent care, she has had a chest cold for way to long, and we have to worry about her getting pneumonia. Of course they will draw her blood and gasp at the low platelets and kidney counts and insist she needs a transplant. Jesse will have to talk them down off a cliff and tell them that is
her normal.....
We lost jesse's website - someone bought it at renewal. So I bought  you can enter that into the search, and the blog should show up.
I will update those results when I get them.
Be blessed, and thank you for checking in.

Went in for the blood draw, they used a huge needle to draw the blood. The amount to draw for the first time was 250cc. With Jesse's past heart problems, that was a safe amount to draw. All went well until.....
They called us 4 hours later, and accidently drew 500cc !! Thank God Jesse's heart was in much better condition to allow that much to be taken out.
Jesse is doing fine, she still wants to be a phlebotomist :)

Jesse gets a LARGE blood draw.

It is official. Tomorrow will be the first try at using phlebotomy to get out some of the extra iron. For now she will be going once a month, to make sure she can produce new blood fast enough to not effect her heart or blood pressure.
This is a slow process, but the iron has to go. Having to much iron in your blood affects your heart and other vital organs.
Praying for Jesse
